The Apprenticeship Coordinator Manual will assist the Apprenticeship Coordinator in the managing of the Apprenticeship Program. 

 

The Standards of Apprenticeship provides an outline of the program standards developed for each of the sponsor's apprenticeable occupations. The completed Standards of Apprenticeship is submitted to the Arizona Commerce Authority, Apprenticeship Office for program approval and registration.

 

Twenty Two Point Checklist. All new or revised sets of Apprenticeship Standards must meet these requirements.

 

The Apprenticeship Agreement completed by each Sponsor and apprentice following program approval and as apprentices are added to the sponsor's workforce. Once completed it should be sent to the Apprenticeship Office.

 

The Apprentice Action Form is completed for each apprentice who completes leaves or drops from the sponsor's program.

 

The Credit for Previous Experience is completed by the Sponsor and sent to the Apprenticeship Office.

 

Proofs of Registration are to be completed and sent to the Apprenticeship Office.

 

An Affirmative Action Plan is used by sponsors who have 5 or more apprentices in their program at one time. Those with less than 5 apprentices are not required to submit an Affirmative Action Plan. 

 

Qualifications and Selection Procedures are used by Sponsors who have 5 or more apprentices at one time. There are 4 different methods, the Sponsor must choose one. Those with less than 5 apprentices are not required to submit Qualifications and Selection Procedures.

 

Apprenticeable Occupations is a list of occupations approved by the USDOL Office of Apprenticeship to be apprenticeable.
